My Background

My name is Natalia Roberts, and I am a recently graduated Family Nurse Practitioner. I currently work at Sutter Medical Group in Internal Medicine. From working in low-income, uninsured clinics to private practices and in hospital settings, I have a wide array of unique experiences with various patient population groups. I provide compassionate and the highest quality of care to all of my patients. I am an advocate for all of my patients to have improved access, quality and cost effective health care. I am passionate about providing health education to urban communities and marginalized groups. Through my e-portfolio, I hope you learn more about me.

Family Nurse Practitioner Student, Brighter Beginnings Antioch

  • Conducted physical exams and health screenings from newborn to adult that included blood pressure and cholesterol checks as well as TB skin tests. Performed exams and completed paperwork for sports and camp physicals.

  • Developed targeted health education and adherence strategies for diabetes, hypertension and asthma medication regimens; educated on disease processes; and linked patients to community resources.

  • Ordered, processed, and interpreted quick-result lab tests for certain diseases such as influenza, strep, and urinary tract infections; obtained specimens for confirmation of test results with outside laboratories.
